How to do Log a Call to Lead in Lightning Experience ?

Applications of Log a Call :

  • When you are calling for that particular lead
  • When you are doing activity for that particular lead
  • When you finished any activity and you want to log

Advantages to Log a Call :

  • Track your call & other activity
  • you can assign calling task to your sales team
  • have a clear idea for past activities

How to do Log a Call to Lead in Lightning Experience ?

  • Select Leads
  • Click Log a Call

LEX Log a Call

  • Subject : Select Subject e.g. Call, Visit, Follow up etc. ( you can customize as per your requirements ).
  • Comments : You can write comments.
  • Name : by default it’s lead or contact name.
  • Related to : here you can select all salesforce objects. ( e.g. Accounts, Opportunity, Case, Contract etc ).

LEX Past Activity

Note : in above screen you can it’s under “Past Activity” because you already finished this activity.
